P886 - L Zahan Villa @ Aligarh ( U.P. ) [Secound Floor Bed Room ]

1. Overall Design Theme

  • The theme of the room is Neo-Classical or Royal European, characterized by ornate carvings, rich materials, and symmetry.

  • It incorporates baroque and rococo-style aesthetics, with gilded accents and heavy use of upholstery and intricate detailing.

2. Color Scheme

  • Dominant shades include rich browns, creams, golds, and whites.

  • The walls and ceiling are mostly in neutral tones (light gray and cream), serving as a canvas for the ornate golden and bronze detailing.

  • Upholstery and bedding use deep maroon or rust red, providing a striking contrast to the neutrals.

  • Hints of gold metallic in moldings and trims enhance the regal ambiance.

3. Ceiling and Lighting

  • The false ceiling has multiple recessed layers with elegant golden framing.

  • LED strip lighting provides soft indirect illumination along the borders.

  • A chandelier with ornate gold embellishments and crystal drops is the central focal point, enhancing the grandeur.

  • Recessed downlights are installed evenly for uniform lighting.

  • Classic wall sconces (in silver and chrome finishes) flank the walls, adding ambient lighting and elegance.

4. Furniture Details

  • Bed: The centerpiece of the room features an intricately carved headboard and footboard in white with golden embellishments. Upholstered with tufted deep red velvet fabric.

  • Side tables: Matching vintage-style nightstands in ivory with gold detailing. Decorated with artistic table lamps.

  • Seating: Includes two classic high-back chairs and a matching bench at the foot of the bed, all upholstered in the same deep red velvet.

  • Study/Vanity Area: A white console or dressing table with drawers and a mirror adds functionality and complements the décor.

  • TV Cabinet: White and gold carved cabinet supports a modern flat-screen TV. Above it is a carved arch niche with wall-mounted accent lights and metallic wall art.

5. Wall Treatments

  • The walls are covered in elegant fabric-textured wallpaper in subtle gray or taupe tones.

  • Heavy molding and framing in gold and ivory define wall panels and art placements.

  • Walls feature ornate cornices, pilasters, and capitals, enhancing the classical style.

  • Decorative wall art includes:

    • A mural of a traditional royal procession with an elephant, invoking Indian or Persian palace themes.

    • A tapestry-style art piece with a medieval scene, likely referencing courtly life or classic tales.

6. Flooring

  • Flooring is high-gloss white marble with dark veins.

  • Black and gold inlay or printed border designs around the perimeter and beneath furniture pieces mimic classic Persian rugs.

  • The marble adds to the room’s luxurious and cold elegance but is balanced with rich textiles and upholstery.
